Adcote School for Girls

Adcote was founded in 1907 and has a long and distinguished history. The school has an enviable reputation for providing excellence and all round education for aspirational girls. With 64% A*-B in recent years in our A level results, our students can learn in a safe and nurturing environment and truly thrive. Recent university destinations include Oxford, Cambridge, Warwick, Exeter and many other Russel Group universities, to study medicine, law, forensics, fashion design, and many others. Our goal is to nurture the passions in our students and provide them with the lifelong skills, and fully prepare them for their future. We build aspiration, confidence and a caring attitude towards others. Our small class sizes, in a safe and secure environment enable the girls to fully realise their potential and equip them to balance the challenges of life in the multi-cultural 21st century. At Adcote our day and boarding girls are thoroughly integrated which encourages excellent interaction between all members of the community. The exceptionally inclusive nature means that Adcote is a friendly and exciting place for the girls where learning is fun and expectations are high. There is a genuine emphasis on focusing on each girl as an individual. Our sporting achievements are excellent, with several girls usually competing in the Horse of the Year show, and we currently have two sisters in the GB vaulting squad. Our gym squad won a range of trophies at the ISA National Gymnastics Competition and ten girls this year have gone on to represent the Midlands in the National Athletics Championships.
