Standard Tests
At IEC, we understand that applying to overseas universities is not just about filling an application form. It is
a crucial decision and involves a lot of planning, research, and decision-making.
Common tests across countries
Most universities have preset requirements that expect students to submit scores for standard exams for studying abroad. GMAT, TOEFL and IELTS are the most common ones for English language proficiency. SAT is a standardized test for many undergraduate courses for admission to universities in the USA. There are a few universities that do not require these exams.TOEFL scores are valid for 2 years, though it is preferable to send most recent scores. GMAT is a required test for graduate business studies in the USA and is a computerized test for English and math. Many grad programs for STEM as well as arts and humanities require GRE scores.
