A public university based in Northampton, Northamptonshire, England the University of Northampton was formed in 1999 when a number of training colleges merged together. It was in 2005 that the institution gained full university status. 

Currently, the university has invested about £330 million in the Waterside campus

It encompasses a complete range of integrated learning environments

Besides a 24 x 7 library and a learning zone, the campus is also designed to fit 21st-century learning

Northampton is situated 90 minutes from Leicester Square in central London and within convenient reach of major centers such as Birmingham, Luton, Milton Keynes and Leicester.
