Auburn University at Montgomery
Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is an Alabama Public University. The Auburn University Board of Trustees was established by an act of the Alabama Legislature as part of the Auburn University system in 1967. AUM offers over 90 bachelor, master, technical and doctoral programs. AUM offers more than 80 courses. In 2018, more than 5,200 students were enrolled in the university. Via Act 403 of the Alabama Legislature, AUM was created in 1967. He was appointed vice chair and chief executive officer at the newly established university in March 1968, Dr H. Hanly Funderburk Jr. Two years later, a college relocated to a 500 acre (2.0 km2) campus on the McLemore Plantation, 7 miles (11 Km) east of downtown Montgomery. In 1969, AUM opened the door to neighboring 600 students in the former Alabama Extension Center in Bell Road, close to Maxwell AFB. The first two buildings of the campus consisted of the Administration and the Bibliothèque and Goodwyn Hall with school and school offices. Montgomery University Auburn has been accredited by the United States. Princeton and News & World Report 2018 for the success of their academic programmes. US.
