Overview of University of Bedfordshire

Bedfordshire University is a public university located in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, England. The university was founded in 1882, but became a university in 1992 as the University of Luton. The name was changed to the University of Bedfordshire in 2006 with the approval of the Privy Council by the merger of the University of Luton and the De Montfort University campus of Bedford. They support their students in all aspects of their lives and encourage them to influence the education and services they provide. Luton is one of the biggest and most diverse cities in the UK. This lively, multicultural society comprises over 140 different nationalities. In addition, Bedford is a riverfront area, surrounded by parks and open spaces, on a lovely stretch of the Great Ouse River. The Luton and Bedford campus, which runs along the same line of train to London’s St. Pancras station, is convenient and easy to reach London.
